OJJDP Second Chance Act Grantee

North Carolina Families United (NCFamU) is honored to receive the OJJDP FY24 Second Chance Act grant to implement their new program "STARR (Start Talking About Rebuilding Relationships)" STARR focuses on addressing the complex challenges faced by incarcerated parents and their families, aiming to reduce the negative impacts of parental incarceration. Through this program, NCFamU will work to rebuild relationships and strengthen family bonds across North Carolina’s communities.

Statewide Family Network Grantee

North Carolina Families United (NCFamU) is thrilled to be awarded the SAMHSA Statewide Family Network Grant to continue our work for the upcoming project term 09/30/2024 to 09/29/2027! With this support, NCFamU will continue enhancing mental health services for families raising children with Significant Emotional Disturbances (SED) or Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (COD), as well as those with incarcerated parents.
