How To Get Involved
At North Carolina Families United, we believe that real change starts with families because no one understands the needs of our communities better than those who live in them. Getting involved in state and local committees, subcommittees, collaboratives, and workgroups is a powerful way for families and youth to have their voices heard where decisions are made. It’s also a chance to stay informed about what’s happening across the state and right in your own community whether it’s changes in mental health services, school supports, or youth programs. When you show up, speak out, and share your story, you help build a stronger, more supportive system for everyone. We’re here to help you get connected with meeting info, resources, and encouragement every step of the way because your voice truly matters.
